Cynthia Louise Bissett was the Vice Director of Verizon's Mobile Network. Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. is her father, director of an online company and businessman. She was born and raised as an Catholic in the city of Manhattan's Upper East Side. Due to this her parents enrolled the Convent of the Sacred Heart a prestigious religious school. She loved music as young. As a kid, she was taught playing the piano. Later, at thirteen she wrote her first tune. Open mic nights were her favorite. The singers she admired were Queen Michael Jackson Madonna, David Bowie. Following her graduation from high school, she attended the Tisch School of Art at New York University to study music. But after completing high school she enrolled in the Tisch School for Fine Arts at New York University to learn about music.
